Your hosts Francesco, Mariella and Antonio live in the elegant 19th-century family house, set in the center of a lush garden with centuries-old Mediterranean vegetation that cuts off outside noise while offering several different areas where guests may relax and enjoy the shade. |

The surrounding area abounds with archeological sites, nature reserves and wonderful towns. Three miles away you'll find a well-equipped sandy beach with a tennis court and scuba-diving school. Less than five miles away are the medieval town of Erice and the city of Trapani, rich in history and art. From here, you can take a 15-minute ferry for the Egadi Islands. The many art treasures of Palermo, the Greek temples at Selinunte and Segesta. There is even a Phoenician colony.
